We are looking to appoint a confident, effective and highly motivated General Teaching Assistant to work alongside our teaching team, supporting pupils in school. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the staff team with a passion for helping every child reach their potential. This role also incorporates the role of Breakfast Club Assistant to support our wrap around care.

Successful candidates will need to demonstrate kindness, care and patience, have a good sense of humour and be an excellent communicator. Resilience and a sense of responsibility in terms of providing the highest level of care and support for pupils and colleagues are essential. Good organisational skills and creativity to support the after school provision are required.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic person with excellent communication skills to lead our Wrap Around Before and After School Provision. The Club Leader will have a high level of initiative and independence and lead on the provision of extended care. The Club Leader reports to the Head-teacher, communicating with senior leadership team on the progress of the club. The Club Leader will be responsible for promoting the club and contributing to the creation of any club policies and procedure together with reporting any safeguarding concerns to the HeadTeacher/appropriate person.

The core focus of this job is to ensure the provision of high quality out of hours school provision for children, within a positive, safe & happy environment. The post holder will do this by organising and providing an appropriate range of activities and food with the support of a Before School Assistant.

Description:

We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic individuals to join our Facilities team and support the school in ensuring the environment is safe, clean and compliant for all.

We are seeking to appoint reliable and trustworthy cleaners on various permanent part-time contracts to carry out cleaning duties within allocated timescales, whilst taking a flexible approach in order to meet the school’s requirements. Duties will include (but not exhaustive):

  • General dusting of furniture, fixings and fittings

  • Emptying waste paper bins

  • Wiping surfaces, fixtures, fittings & paintwork

  • Cleaning around toilet areas

  • Dust control mopping / sweeping of floors

  • Vacuuming floors

  • Using cleaning materials as instructed
