Headteacher’s Welcome
A warm welcome to Hookstone Chase Primary School. We pride ourselves on our warm, friendly and family ethos which provides the firm foundations for effective learning. We strive to achieve the best outcomes for all of our children through a rich, engaging and vibrant curriculum.
Hookstone Chase Primary School is part of Northern Star Academies Trust, a thriving Trust Partnership of primary and secondary schools in North and West Yorkshire. We enjoy working collaboratively to share the very best practice, ensuring the highest quality education for all our children.
Hookstone Chase Primary School is situated on the edge of open countryside on the southeastern outskirts of Harrogate. It is set within its own attractive grounds complete with extensive playing fields, sports court, gardens and a willow tunnel as well as an Outdoor Stage. This is complemented by a well-maintained, bright and lively building which ensures that the learning environments add quality and value to the children’s education.
It is our intention that all children have the opportunity to grow and flourish in their learning. Through the provision of an exciting and stimulating curriculum, with a range of enrichment opportunities, we want the children to feel inspired to develop their own interests and become independent, resilient and reflective learners.
The personal development of each child is of great value to us and we place a lot of importance on developing the social and emotional aspects of learning to equip them with the skills and understanding they will need to lead confident, healthy and independent lives.
